Choices

I was going to take a cruddy cell phone picture and post something thoughtful, but... yeah, I don't have time for that. (Doing a content analysis of 282 newspapers articles is slowly draining my soul out of my left ear.)

BUT!... I have good news. FEW has been successful: Not only have I been offered a fully-funded assistantship to Penn State, but I've also been offered a (mostly) fully-funded assistantship to Florida. I've been chit-chatting with people from both universities and have been weighing my options. I've also been contacted by Temple, so maybe they'll offer me something nice, too.

Either way, this is the general update. Both schools have their pluses and minuses, and I'm 99.9% sure I've made my decision. I'm sitting on my offers for a few more days before I do anything about them. The main point, and the nice thing, is that I have multiple options. I've been accepted by two amazing programs (which is a feather in my cap) and know that, no matter what, I will be starting a Ph.D. program in the fall.
